Nahyan bin Mubarak assigns Dr Ali Rashid Abdullah Al Nuaimi as Vice Chancellor of UAEU

Al An, Oct 18th, 2012 (WAM) - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, in his capacity as the Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University, issued an ordinance assigning Dr Ali Rashid Abdullah Al Nuaimi as Vice Chancellor of the university.

Dr. Nuaimi holds BA and MA from the Portland State University (PSU) of USA and completed his doctoral studies at the University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud, Saudi Arabia.

He adorned several senior academic and scientific positions at the UAEU, where he joined in 1991 as a member of the Faculty of Education.

In 2006 he was appointed as an adviser to the Minister of Education and is member of many committees including the Sheikh Zayed Book Award.

Nuaimi is one of the Emirati academics known for their competence, experience and dedication to work.
