Qatar Daycare Centre, the first multi-speciality daycare clinic in Doha, was opened yesterday. Jassim Ibrahim Fakhroo, Director of Communication and Media Department at the Supreme Council of Health inaugurated the facility located at Al Nasr in Doha in the presence of a host of dignitataries.

The new clinic is a joint venture led by Mohammed Sultan Mohammed Jaber Al Jaber, Chairman & CEO of the 'Al Jaber Group' and Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Towar Al Kuwari of West Gulf Group as business partner. Qatar Daycare Centre is managed by the leading health care group of UAE and India - the Fathima Healthcare Group. With a history spanning over 12 years, Fathima Healthcare Group runs hospitals, polyclinics, diagnostic centers and pharmacies across the UAE.

In the first phase of operation, the clinic will have departments such as orthopedics, general physician and pediatrics, speech therapy, general surgery, family medicine, dental unit, emergency services, operation theatre and supporting services like pharmacy and daycare beds.

Other specialities like dermatology, ENT, ophthalmology, obstetrics & gynaecology and super specialities like cardiology, urology, endocrinology and neurology will also be functional as soon as the administrative procedures and formalities are over, it was disclosed during the opening ceremony.

In his presidential address, Mohammed Sultan Mohammed Jaber Al Jaber, stressed that the Al Jaber Group is now diversifying into the healthcare segment through Qatar Daycare Centre and is committed to provide personalized, cost effective, and high quality healthcare for all with outstanding hospitality.

Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Towar Al Kuwari said that he will support all the activities of Qatar Daycare Centre to achieve the aim of providing quality and affordable healthcare to the local as well as expatriate community.
