Al Ain, 26 July 2011 (WAM) - General/ His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces today visited Ain Al Faydha area in Al Ain and inspected a housing project being implemented there by Al Qudra Holding.
Sheikh Mohammed was received at the site by Mahmoud Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, Chief Executive Officer of Al Qudra who briefed His Highness about the project which is being built on a 4-square kilometer area. The project's design is inspired by the Emirati lifestyle. It consists of 2,000 villas, each with five bedrooms and two Majlis rooms. The Project also includes construction of schools, shopping centres and service facilities. Sheikh Mohammed viewed a model of the residential blocks, each having 8 villas and a common park. He praised the progress made there and urged timely delivery and top quality of the residential units and other facilities. Sheikh Mohammed also visited the scenic Mubazara Al Khadra area and Adventure Wadi resort project which is being constructed by Tumooh. The project manager made a presentation about the project, which entails construction of the UAE's first whitewater rafting, kayaking and surf facility. Sheikh Mohammed attended a surfing demonstration in the 127-meter long surf pool which is capable of making a 3.3m high waves.
