Tehran - Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has congratulated Iranˈs Natioanl Greco-Roman Wrestling team on their winning world 2014 title.

According to the report of the Supreme Leader Office website on Sunday, His Excellency congratulated the victory to the team and the whole nation.

He has also appreciated the team's work which 'has brought honour to the nation'.

The Iranian Greco-Roman team won the World Wrestling Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on Sunday for the first time with 42 points.
