KUWAIT, April 21 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah along with His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace on Monday the Chairman of Kuwait's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Ali Thanyan Al-Ghanem, Chairman's First Deputy President Halal Meshari Al-Mutairi, Chairman's Second Deputy Khalid Al-Saqer, and members of the Chamber.
His Highness the Amir stressed on importance of the role of the private sector in boosting the country's national economy and its contribution in the diversification of sources to stay abreast of the economic developments globally.
For his part, Al-Ghanem noted the significance of the private sector and guidance from His Highness the Amir regarding economic reforms and transforming the country into a financial and commercial hub in the region.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Amiri Diwan Minister Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah, Director of Amir Office Ahmad Fahad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, and Head of the Amiri honorary mission and ceremonies Sheikh Khalid Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah.
