KUWAIT: A Ministry of Energy report indicated that generator problems throughout Kuwait reduced the country's power output. Unit five in the east Doha power plant is only working at a 110-megawatt capacity because of a problem with the rotating air heater.
The same problem reduced the output of units 3, 4, 5 and 7 in the south Al-Zour power plant. The total output of all units was 9,108 megawatts. An exhaust leak reduced unit four at the Al-Sibbiya power plant to 150-megawatt capacity.
