KUWAIT CITY, Dec 6: The General Traffic Department (GTD) announces that the permanent committee responsible for public sale of vehicles and motorbikes impounded at the ministry garages will conduct an auction at Kuwait Public Transport Company in Jabriya-Hawalli Governorate garages.
The registration numbers of vehicles impounded, with the names of their owners have been announced in the local dailies, on radio and the national television since Oct 23, 2011. The Ministry of Interior requires that owners of such vehicles and motorbikes should contact the committee in charge of public sale within two weeks of the announcement.
According to the ministry, auction will begin 3:00 pm on Wednesday, Dec 14, 2011 at the garages in Jabriya affiliated to the Kuwait Public Transport Company. Interested persons may contact the concerned authority a day before the auction to examine their choices.
