Abu Dhabi, April 16th, 2007 (WAM) - Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyanhas appointed Jumeirah to manage Jumeirah Etihad Towers, an iconic andprestigious beach front development, the Group's first hotel in the UAEcapitalAt a signing ceremony held this morning in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Suroor binMohammed Al Nahyan has appointed Jumeirah, the dynamic and rapidly growingluxury hospitality group and a member entity of Dubai Holding, to manageone of Abu Dhabi's most prestigious and iconic new beach front developmentslocated in the exclusive Khalideya area of the city.

Jumeirah Etihad Towers, developed under the patronage of His HighnessSheikh Suroor Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan's Department of Special Projects,will feature several towers including a hotel, an office building andserviced residences as well as commercial and retail space. The projectmanagement for this prestigious new development is handled by Hill International,the assigned architects for the project are DBI and ACC is the main contractor.

Scheduled to open late 2010, the 60 storey luxury hotel tower will comprise400 beautifully appointed guest rooms & suites as well as 200 fully servicedapartments varying from studios to spacious one, two and three bedroomapartments. In addition, the development will include a high end shoppingboulevard, extensive conference & banqueting facilities, a spa and sport& recreation facilities, which will be open to the hotel guests, residentsand office tower tenants. Located on Abu Dhabi's world renowned Corniche,the hotel will have a private sandy beach for guests to enjoy.
