It’s no secret that the stars of director Sajid Khan’s comedy Humshakals had a ball while filming their comedy in London and Mauritius.
The UAE can witness that camaraderie this Thursday as they fly into town to talk up their June 19 release.
Actors Saif Ali Khan, soon-to-be-dad Riteish Deshmukh, TV sensation Ram Kapoor, actress Esha Gupta and director Khan will interact with the press and then meet their fans by making those token store and clinic visits.
Organised by Dream Advertising and Ministry Of Events, the Humshakals team will visit the Malabar Gold & Diamond showroom in Meena Bazaar at 6pm. If you cannot make it to that, you can always catch them at Aster Clinic in Ghusais at 6.30pm.
Humshakals, a comedy of errors, will see its lead actors in triple role. Its success is crucial for director Khan, who is still chafing from the box-office debacle of Himmatwala.
“After Himmatwala bombed at the box office, I decided that I am never going to make anything else but comedy ...I am a changed man now. I was very arrogant then and said just about anything to get attention.
“Thank God Himmatwala flopped! Now, I am back on track,” said Khan to reporters during the trailer launch of Humshakals.
