Hino facility in Oman is amongst the best in the world, says Shoji - Kondo, Chairman, Hino Motors - Shoji Kondo, Chairman, Hino Motors presented the prestigious 'Best Management Award' to Shaikh Mohammed Saud Bahwan, Chairman, Saud Bahwan Group at a function held at the Hino facility. Lauding the accomplishments of Saud Bahwan Automotive and Shaikh Mohammed Saud Bahwan, Shoji Kondo said, "I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations to Chairman Shaikh Mohammed Saud Bahwan and his team for their efforts in consolidating the position of Hino in the Oman market."
"I would like to emphasise our appreciation for Shaikh Mohammed Saud Bahwan's strong corporate policy to place special focus on "Customer Care" right from sales through to after-sales service. This customer-oriented policy is really synchronised with Hino Motor's policy to provide customers with the Sales, Service and Spares total package support," he stated. Heaping praise on the new Hino facility, Kondo remarked, "This 3S facility in which we are now, is amongst the best in the world.
It has the largest number of bays among Hino distributors all over the world, and Saud Bahwan Automotive's investment last year in this facility despite the most difficult economic climate shows their strong commitment to "after-sales back-up" to all our valued customers in Oman, which I believe is the most important factor for truck operators." Kondo went on to add, "Saud Bahwan Automotive has shown tremendous progress in world-class customer care by committing huge resources in management of Hino business. Large investments in sales/after-sales infrastructure, human resource development, customer care initiatives and various steps to build the Hino brand image have been taken by Saud Bahwan Automotive.
The "Best Management Award" is in appreciation of this outstanding effort." Humbly accepting the Best Management Award, Shaikh Mohammed Saud Bahwan expressed his sincere gratitude and dedicated the award to Hino customers in Oman. "Right from the beginning our customers have been our pillar of strength, and I believe this award truly belongs to all the Hino customers in Oman." "Saud Bahwan Automotive has been able to achieve this remarkable success due to the excellent support from Hino management for which we convey our wholehearted thanks to them," he added.
During the function, Kondo also launched the new Hino 300 series light duty trucks. Highlighting the design philosophy he said, "Hino 300 series is designed to reflect our QDR concept -- which stands for quality, durability and reliability, and I strongly believe they will satisfy the needs of demanding customers in Oman." "With the introduction of light duty trucks, we will have the widest product line-up among all truck manufacturers in Oman, and it is only Hino Motors that will offer a comprehensive portfolio of trucks ranging from GVW4.5 tonne small truck to GCW100 tonne heavy duty truck along with reliable service," he continued.
The new Hino 300 series light duty trucks come in a wide range of GVW like 5.5T, 6.5T, 7.5T and 8.5T, to meet the requirement of every customer. The vehicles are available with 105 PS and 130 PS engines. Speaking on the occasion, Shaikh Mohammed Saud Bahwan said, "2010 is a landmark year for Oman, as we celebrate 40 years of renaissance under the wise leadership of His Majesty. I would like to pay our respects to His Majesty and pray to God Almighty to bestow good health and long life on him."
