ArabFinance: Housing and Development Bank (HD Bank) (HDBK) contributed with EGP 9 million to establish Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre in Cairo, which will become the largest healthcare center in Egypt and the Middle East.

The center will provide free-of-charge cardiovascular care to patients across the Arab world.

The bank will distribute dividends of EGP 126.500 million, an equivalent of one share for every 10 held.

HD Bank logged a net profit of EGP 2.06 billion in 2020, lower 7.4% when compared to EGP 2.22 billion in 2019.

The Egypt-based commercial and investment bank principally operates in the housing and development sector. HD Bank also contributes to alleviating the housing problem through the establishment of an integrated group of housing projects across Egypt.
