KUWAIT, April 7 (KUNA) -- Hawalli Governor praised the competitive pricing at this year's week-long "Electro 2007" electronics exhibition Saturday upon the inauguration.
Retired Lieutenant General Abdullah Al-Faris said this year's exhibition is a great improvement over the 2006 show, with more exhibitors and better deals.
Such events boost commerce within the country and encourages healthy competition, he said.
Kuwait International Fair's deputy managing director, Abdulrahman Al-Nassar, said participating vendors are showing the latest technology. Over 15 international companies and franchises are taking part in the event, he added.
A number of diplomats and officials attended the exhibition's inauguration.
