Dubai, 16th Feb. 2012 (WAM) -- HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, and Chairman of General Pensions and Social Security Authority (GPSSA), chaired today the 23rd meeting of its Board of Directors at the Ministry of Finance Office in Dubai.
The meeting was attended by Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Finance, the GPSSA Deputy Chairman and members of the Board. Muzaffar Alhaj Muzaffar, Director General of the GPSSA, said the board of directors sanctioned decisions taken at their previous meeting and reviewed steps taken by the GPSSA to implement those decisions. He added that the board recommended improvement of services delivered to clients and expansion of their scope in line with directives given by the Federal Cabinet for upgrading performance, efficiency and excellence in the quality of public services.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2012.
