Dubai: The legal representatives of the late Egyptian music legend Abdul Halim Hafez's heirs have appealed to Dubai Appeal Court to stop Dubai-based satellite TV station MBC from broadcasting his biographical series.
The temporary and urgent cases section at Dubai Civil Court rejected a second appeal filed by the heirs on Monday. Advocate Samir Jaafar, who is representing the heirs, yesterday appealed to the higher court to consider his client's appeal.
One of the Egyptian legend's heirs, M.C., had asked the urgent cases section to stop the series.
