Some 744,000 tons of glass have been produced since March 20, 2012, indicating a 9.4-percent growth compared to the figure for the same period of year before.
According to Shata News, close to 327,000 tons of glassware, 64,200 tons of sanitary appliances, and 33,700 tons of Chinaware were manufactured.
Jaam glass output reached 87,000 tons during December 2012, showing a 1.2 percent rise against the same period of preceding year.
Glassware output reached 38,000 tons during December 2012, whereas sanitary appliances and Chinaware production rose to 6,900 and 4,100 tons respectively.
