JEDDAH - Global Engineering & Construction Group has entered into an agreement with A. Al-Saihati, A. Fattani and O. Al-Othman Consulting Engineering Company (SOFCON), a provider of engineering and project management solutions, to form a joint venture (JV) in Kingdom.
Global Engineering & Construction Group is a division of Foster Wheeler AG, an engineering, construction and project management contractor, and power equipment supplier.
The new entity, Foster Wheeler SOFCON Consulting Engineering Company, will be a regional engineering hub and will be based in the city of Al-Khobar.
The JV will focus on providing full-service engineering and project management services for onshore/offshore oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals and associated infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.
