Egypt and ExxonMobil have signed a memorandum of understanding to expand natural gas exploration and production activities in the Egyptian Mediterranean, the Egyptian Petroleum Ministry said on Tuesday.
Under the MOU, ExxonMobil plans to invest in a new concession area located west of Egypt's Zohr field, according to the ministry's statement.
