ArabFinance: President Abdel Fattah el Sisi has directed to increase the allowance on top of health profession wages, as announced by the Presidency spokesman. 

An additional 75% will be paid to state healthcare workers, including doctors serving at university hospitals.
This will amount to a total of EGP 2.25 billion. Furthermore, el Sisi directed to initiate an emergency fund for all medical professionals.
The announced allowance comes in line with the efforts exerted by Egyptian health workers amid the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.
