BAHRAIN — Saudi students have won all the gold medals in each of the Gulf Chemistry and Mathematics Olympiad competitions (GCHO and GMO), which was held here.

More than 50 students from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), both male and female, participated in the competition.

The event was organized by the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS), as Saudi students won 5 gold medals and 5 silver medals.

The Ministry of Education said that the Saudi students participating in the Chemistry Olympiad achieved 4 medals.

Mohammed Al-Hadlag and Ali Al-Saleh, from Riyadh Region Education Department won the gold medals.

While Abdullah Al-Mumtan, Hassan Al-Khalifa from Al-Sharqiya Region Education Department won silver medals.

In the Mathematics Olympiad, six students won medals.

Abdulrahman Nassif, Mohammed Hafiz, from Madinah Region Education Department, and Eyad Abduljalil from Al-Sharqiya Region Education Department, won gold medals.

Moreover, Mouath Al-Qahtani, Abdulkarim Al-Salim, in addition to the female student Jana Al-Dossari from Al-Sharqiya Region Education Department won silver medals.
