AMMAN (Petra) - Jordan Customs Department (JCD) increased its revenues to around JD929 million during the first nine months of this year compared to JD914.5 million during the same period of 2009.

JCD Director General Ghaleb Sarayreh attributed the higher amount to a special fuel tax that was imposed besides higher customs on imports during the last seven months.
