A pop-up concept store and speciality coffee bar opens in Bahrain today, showcasing talented designers and products.
‘AreWeAwake’, in City Centre Bahrain, will run for three months and feature high-quality design products such as streetwear, accessories and art prints collectibles, among others.
“AreWeAwake has been the slogan of our Papercup coffee brand and this year we wanted to create a new experience,” said Joshua de Ocampo, the projects and marketing manager of Papercup and AreWeAwake, which falls under the holding company Man Squared.
“With a constantly changing selection, it’s a place for people to enjoy fine speciality coffee, explore new products in one place and discover local brands in a new exciting way.
”The store will showcase more than 12 local, regional and international brands such as Azza Fine Jewellery, Toyio, Pop and 2D2C2M. Raw Candy has created a special vegan menu for the pop-up.“
"Papercup has been one of our vendors since we began and we are so grateful to be a part of this fantastic concept for the next few months,” said Raw Candy’s marketing manager and front of house Olivia Middleton.
“We will be featuring all of our vegan sweet treats such as cinnamon rolls, banana bread, cookies, chocolates and nut butters.
“It will basically be the only fully vegan sweet treat counter in the mall.
“We will also be using this opportunity to launch brand new vegan items that will only be available at the pop-up shop.
“We do have a couple of surprises as well that we will keep to ourselves for now.”
After three months, the pop-up will be moved to a new location.It is open from 10am to 10pm on weekdays and 10am to midnight on weekends.
