ArabFinance: Cleopatra Hospitals Group (CHG) (CLHO) has signed agreements as part of a transaction to complete and prepare a more than 400-bed hospital building in New Cairo, according to a statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The group seeks to complete the transaction after obtaining the approval of the Ministry of Health, in addition to, fulfilling the previously agreed on conditions.

This came in line with the groups strategy to boost investment in the Egyptian medical sector through raising the number of beds in the healthcare sector.

Established in 2014, following the acquisition of its East Cairo Hospitals, Cleopatra Hospital, and Cairo Specialized Hospital, CHG expanded its geographical network in West Cairo to acquire two additional facilities, namely Nile Badrawi Hospital in 2015 and Al Shorouk Hospital in 2016.
