March 12 (Reuters) - Gateway Distriparks Ltd GATE.NS :

* Says acquired 7.4 million equity shares of 10 rupees each in unit Snowman Logistics from Nichirei Logistics Group for 259 million rupees

* Says Co'S shareholding in Snowman Logistics will increase to 54.19% and Nichirei Logistics Group will cease to be shareholder of Snowman Logistics

* Source text: Gateway Distriparks Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has acquired 74 Lac equity shares of Rs. 10 each in its subsidiary company, Snowman Logistics Ltd. (SLL) from Nichirei Logistics Group Inc. for Rs. 25.90 crores.

Post this purchase of shares, SLL will continue to be the subsidiary of Gateway Distriparks Limited; Gateway Distriparks Limited's shareholding in SLL will increase to 54.19% and Nichirei Logistics Group Inc. will cease to be a shareholder of SLL.
