Amman - Ukrainian Embassy in Amman praised a decision by the Greater Amman Municipality to name a street in the capital after outstanding Ukrainian Poet Taras Shevchenko.
A statement by the Embassy on Tuesday said the street was named after the poet on the 200th Anniversary of his birth, adding that this is the first street in the Arab capitals named after T. Shevchenko.
