BANK AlJazira, a leading financial institution specialized in providing modern Shariah-compliant banking services, announced that its call center (AlJazira PHONE) won 7 awards at the International Call Centers Competition in EMEA region 2013 organized recently in Vienna, Austria, by the International Call Centers Conference.
 
The bank won the awards in different categories of the competition; it won the golden medal in Call Center of the Year award, and Call Center Services of the Year award. The bank also won the silver medal in Sales Incentives System of the Year award. Awards were also given to exceptional employees working at AlJazira PHONE; Khalid Ramadan won the Administrative Leader of the Year award, Awad Al Somali won the Best Technical Support award, and Mohammad Al Shummari won the Supervisor of the Year award. Abdul Aziz Al Kanaan also bagged the silver medal in Call Center Agent of the Year award.

Nabil Bin Dawood AlHoshan, CEO of Bank AlJazira; and Khalid Bin Othman Al Othman, Senior Vice-President and Head of Retail Banking Group at Bank AlJazira, received the Call Center (AlJazira PHONE) team members, expressing their gratitude and thanks for the confidence and loyalty of the bank's customers who helped AlJazira PHONE to receive these awards. Last month, INSIGHTS granted Luay Al Nimri the Middle East Call Center Head of the Year award. 

The International Call Centers Competition attracted nearly 600 participants from 28 countries in the EMEA region. The participants represented many sectors such as banks, communications, insurance, hotels, express transit services and IT.
