Abu Dhabi, Feb. 27th, 2007 (WAM) - AlMansoori Specialized Engineering(MSE) has signed a multi-million dollar deal to acquire the TubingConveyed Perforation (TCP) division of Energy Inc as part ofMSE's ambitious plans to build and strengthen its business developmentsin Egypt.
The ceremony was attended by MSE chairman Abdulla Nasser, HilalAlMansoori, president, Nabil Alalawi, managing director AdelBaobaid, general manager for marketing & JV companies and RaoulRazzouk, managing partner of Energy Inc. The acquisition marks MSE's third venture into the Egyptian market. In July, the company acquired Cairo-based service company GulfPetroleum Investments (GPI) in a multi-million dollar deal. Itsfirst venture into the rapidly growing Egyptian oil and gas sectorwas the acquisition of production testing, drill stem testingand memory gauge equipment company Alpine Oil Services Egypt(AOSE). Oil field service company Energy Inc is a subsidiary of Energy-MiddleEast. The company was established in Egypt in 1993 to manufacturehigh quality TCP products and services, under the name of EnergexTCP System. The company has a team of experienced and professionalstaff who are committed to developing and advancing cased holewell technology to the global oil and gas industry on and offshore. Nabil Alalawi, managing director of MSE said: "The acquisitionof the TCP division of Energy, Inc will strengthen our offeringto the global oil and gas industry while extending our scopeof services in Egypt, which we see as a major consideration forfuture expansion.
