MUSCAT -- The Tender Board yesterday awarded 23 projects worth RO 59,095,407 for the following projects:
1) Supply of diesel for the power plants of Rural Areas Electricity Company (RO 38,212,046) for 18 power plants in Musandam Governorate and Al Wusta Region for two years.
2) Construction of 4 power plants 2x20 MVA, 33/11 KV in Al Wadi al Kabir, Muttrah, Al Seeb and Al Khoudh in Muscat Governorate (RO 7,367,441).
3) Construction of Muscat Governorate building including three professional associations (Omani Film Association, Omani Journalists Association and Omani Writers and Men of Letters Association (RO 2,069,952).
4) Washing of insulators for the power plants and lines, 220 and 132 KV for Oman Electricity Transmission Company (RO 1,774,872).
5) Purchase of additional power capacity from Barka Power and Water Desalination Plant (RO 1,211,760).
6) Construction of Health Centre in the Wilayat of Yanqul in the Al Dhahirah Region (RO 788,613).
7) Construction of Al Tharmad Health Centre in the Wilayat of Al Suwaiq in the Al Batinah Region (RO 784,519).
8) Construction of Al Tareef Health Centre in the Wilayat of Sohar in the Al Batinah Region (RO 743,262).
