Samsung Concludes its Campaign Hosted in Partnership with United Pioneering Business titled "Free Week of Maintenance for Samsung AC Units"
Amman, Jordan - Samsung Electronics Levant, the world leader in consumer electronics and digital technology and its affiliated company in Jordan, United Pioneering Business ( UPB ), authorized Samsung systems and service dealer, concluded their campaign titled "Free Week of Maintenance for Samsung AC units" for all clients in Jordan. During this campaign, professional Korean experts in Jordan in collaboration with the UPB maintenance team performed the work on the units.

The results of this campaign returned with a high satisfaction rate of Samsung customers and a very low rate of failures that did not exceed 5%. This percentage is standard compared to the rate prevailing in the sector of 10%.

Samsung asked its customers, who want to benefit from the campaign for free, to register by phone by calling the toll free number. They also brought a specialized engineering team from the global technology center in Korea, to provide superior service to customers during the summer months, and ensure their satisfaction and comfort.

Sangsuk Roh, President of Samsung Electronics Levant, commented: " Samsung performed a study three years ago of the air conditioning market in the Middle East and found that air-conditioners, available at that time, were not capable of dealing with hot climate in the region efficiently as required. The basis of those results, led us to the development of a Samsung air conditioner appropriate for the Middle East region at the forefront of our priorities. After a year of hard work and tests, we have developed an air conditioner compressor called "Ultra Tropical", capable of work efficiently, at a temperature of more than 54 degrees Celsius."

He then added, "The results of the free maintenance campaign were very positive and encouraging and confirmed beyond any doubt that Samsung Air Conditioners provide the ideal choice in the region and only require the minimum in terms of maintenance."

The orchestration of this event coincided with the opening of the new Samsung service location established by UPB , authorized Samsung systems and service dealer, in cooperation with Samsung Electronics Levant. The opening took place on April 9, 2011, to be a model of excellence for service centers. It offers the highest level of maintenance and after sale services to clients and customers of Samsung .

Eng. Samir Khoury, chairman of the board of UPB , also commented: "Launching a service center exclusively for Samsung AC units in Jordan expresses the importance of the Jordanian market in the world and demonstrates foreign interest in the country and its ability to attract investors."

Eng. Khoury also added, "The service center was built based on the Samsung global brand standards and is run by a group of managing engineers and experts that were educated in Samsung service training centers."
