AMMAN -- Under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah, the University of Jordan (UJ) Hospital has received JD16 million of the government's outstanding dues to the hospital, which total JD28 million.

In a statement on Sunday, hospital director Mujalli Mhailan voiced his appreciation of the King's visit to the hospital last Monday, during which he was acquainted with the financial difficulties facing the hospital.
