DUBAI -- Leader capital -- an investment company and Al Mulla Group of Companies -- together launched a private jet aviation company named Gulf Jet.
The agreement was signed between Mohammed Ali Al Abbar, CEO of Leader Capital and Khalaf Al Mulla, Head of Aviation Department, Al Mulla Group of Companies, during the 9th round of JETEX Dubai 2005.
The head office of the Gulf Jet will be set up at the Dubai Airport Free Zone and will provide its services to all GCC countries. An agreement has also been signed with Jet Aviation to undertake the operations and handling of Gulf Jet.
This will include maintenance, human resource management, communication, and operations control. It has been decided to buy aircraft to launch the initial operations.
"We cannot deny the fact that Dubai is and will be an ever-growing commercial and development hub. Various multinationals and businesses are coming to Dubai to exploit opportunities the emirate is offering. With my business experience and going by the analysis of the country, the travel and airline industry is growing by 21 per cent every year and with that, many new companies are entering UAE with the same rate. This percentage shows the success in the sector and Gulf Jet is an opportunity we have taken to take advantage of the growing period," said Al Abbar.
From his side Khalid Al Mulla Said, "Leader Capital and Al Abbar are well trusted names and we are proud to mutually launch Gulf Jet in our best interests. Although a concept of a private jet is not new, we assure that Gulf Jet will be unique in its own way. And to work towards that Gulf Jet will provide best of luxury, customer service and speed to its passengers with the highest standards of safety.
Hussein Mohammed Al Meeza said, "According to our experience here, we completely understand the requirement of a private jet facility. We are extremely glad to come into a joint agreement with Al Mulla Group to make this project a success."
