KUWAIT: VIVA, Kuwait Telecom Co., announced that two of its employees have been chosen to join 100 young Kuwaiti men and women in the national initiative for leadership development, "THUKHER". The initiative seeks to prepare leaders as part of the Kuwait Development Plan.
"THUKHER "has selected Omar Abdulwahab Al-Houti and Fahad Sulaiman Al-Fahad as part of the first batch of 100 Kuwaitis to participate in the initiative's training program. The program includes a field visit to New York; United States, where the participants will become better acquainted with leadership and administrative challenges and how best to deal with them.
VIVA expressed its pride at the selection of two of its young leaders to participate in this ambitious national project, saying that young people are the fundamental and instrumental elements of the company's expansion strategy.
It added that the selection of young VIVA leaders to participate in the "THUKHER" initiative is proof of the success of the company's investment in developing the skills and capabilities of its workforce through training courses that have been specifically designed to hone these promising people's capabilities.
VIVA noted that such constructive initiatives seek to prepare a group of young leaders in line with the aspirations of the country's political leadership to transform Kuwait into a global economic center that attracts investors from different sectors. This group of young people will be the solid base for a promising future that befits the ambitions and aspirations of the Kuwaiti people.
