BAGHDAD: Political analyst Ibraheem Sumaida'I described Tuesday explosions as terrifying indications and a terrorizing message to Arab leaders not to come to Baghdad.

"20 percent of the armed groups are still out of the reconciliation framework and are still practicing their armed work against the political process in the country," Sumaida'I told Aswat al-Iraq.

He added that Qaeda organization and its affiliated hands, including the Ba'ath Party, are still openly trying to destroy the security achievements in Iraq.

"The absence of the intelligence work was revealed clearly by these attacks and following US forces departure," he added.

He called the Iraqi government to develop intelligence service and stop demoting competent personnel.

Eight provinces witnessed yesterday 14-car explosions in Salah al-Din, Karbala, Kirkuk, Baghdad, Anbar, Mosul, and Babel.

The official toll reached to killing 36 and wounding 168.
