Dubai, January 18, 2009 - The organizers for the 4th Annual RetailME Awards, one of the region's most recognized accolades, announced the extension of the deadline for the award nomination entries this year to February 1, 2009.
RetailME, the region's first and most comprehensive retail magazine announced the 2008 edition of its associated event, the annual RetailME Awards in November last year. The event has been organized annually since 2005 and is owned and produced by Concept Events. This year it will be organised for the 4th time and will be held in the month of March 2009, in Dubai UAE. RetailME Awards have had the privilege of being associated with and supported by the Ministry of Economy since its inception and is being held under its very patronage this year as well.
Over the years, RetailME Awards have received significant acclaim and acquired immense popularity amongst the retail trade practitioners, successfully setting new benchmarks of excellence for the region's retail industry. Recognition will also be extended to extraordinary retail achievements in various segments.
The RetailME panel of judges comprises of established industry experts that have been selected solely on the basis of their knowledge, experience and achievements in innovative retail trading at a local as well as international level. These judges will subject all entries to thorough study and scrutiny prior to the short-listing process that would be carried out for each category. The individual scores from all judges are then submitted to the event's auditors, and are revealed only at the Awards ceremony itself.
