BEIRUT: Telecommunication Regulatory Authority chief Imad Hoballah signed a memorandum of understanding with a representative from telecoms industry in Turkey Friday. “[The agreement] seeks to bolster bilateral ties between the telecommunication bodies, which would allow them to exchange information about a variety of issues, such as consumer protection issues, and traffic laws, ensuring quality services, Internet protocols, protecting information and networks, and putting out incentives for technological innovations in the field of electronic communications,” said Hoballah. – The Daily Star
