DUBAI, Oct 4 (Reuters) - Qatar's central bank sold 1 billion riyals ($275 million) of Treasury bills at a monthly auction on Tuesday, with yields rising from the previous month.

The central bank said it sold 550 million riyals of three-month bills at a yield of 1.44 percent, compared to 500 million riyals at 1.14 percent last month.

It sold 300 million riyals of six-month bills at 1.63 percent, versus 250 million riyals at 1.58 percent, and 150 million riyals of nine-month bills at 1.99 percent, against 250 million riyals at 1.74 percent.

Demand in this month's auction totalled 1.85 billion riyals compared to 3.96 billion riyals last month.
