New selfie stick borrowing service launched at the hotel offers guests the opportunity to record special memories at the hotel and around the capital
Abu Dhabi - Starting from April,Southern Sun Abu Dhabi will make it easy for guests staying at the popular hotel to capture memories of their best moments on property and around Abu Dhabi by offering a complimentary selfie-stick borrowing facility at the front desk.
"More and more guests find it important to record experiences like memorable dinners and great panoramason social media to share with friends and family back home,"said Pierre Delfau, General Manager of Southern Sun Abu Dhabi."We thought that giving guests access to a selfie stick would mean they have one less thing to pack and they can still capture some great images of themselves all across the city. We're actively encouraging guests using our selfie sticks to include the hashtag #inabudhabi, launched by Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, when visiting the numerous tourist attractions and historic landmarks in the capital and this will also help spread the word internationally about everything the emirate of Abu Dhabi has to offer."

The hotel is also inviting guests to snap a selfie with a member of staff that has made a real difference to their stay in a drive to celebrate the efforts of all those who contribute to the warm and welcoming experience that has seen Southern Sun Abu Dhabi rapidly become one of the most popular hotels in the capital.
Southern Sun Abu Dhabi will be running a competition open to all guests who use the selfie sticks. Guests can simply post their images on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtags #southernsunselfie and #inabudhabi to enter and stand the chance to win various prizes from brunches to dinners and stays.The best image each month will be selected by Southern Sun and announced on the hotel's social platforms.
