MUSCAT -- In order to enable customers to better explore their range of trendy shades and finishes, Sadolin Paints (Oman) Ltd, has opened a unique Colour Point outlet in Al Ghubra -- Hamed bin Abdullah al Rusheidi & Partners Trading LLC. The new retail outlet was inaugurated by Peter Shepherd, Marketing Manager -- Europe and Middle East, Akzo Nobel, UK (Licensing and Export Business); accompanying him at the inauguration was Kent Ringsted, Manager International Licensing, Akzo Nobel from Denmark.
Speaking at the inauguration, Peter Shepherd said, "The Colour Point outlet will enable customers to literally sense the tint and shade they require before making their choice. This is unique, given the fact that consumers usually do not have the privilege of seeing the colours as they appear when applied on the wall. Generally paints are sold through exclusive paint stores or hardware/sanitary shops, making consumers depend on just shade cards and computer visualisations, but at Akzo Nobel and Sadolin we have always believed in doing things differently."
Shade panels of Sadolin's new range of effect finishes 'Flair', White Collection (36 nearly white), Fashion Metallic finishes, floor coatings and wood finishes are on display at the specially designed outlet. The Colour Point outlet allows customers to touch, feel and discover colours -- a unique real life experience for shade selection. "Sadolin's colour point outlets are a pioneering effort in allowing consumers to experiment with colours so that they can create their own stylish homes using Sadolin's new introduction.
With increasing consumer interest at the point of purchase, our initiatives include taking steps towards involving consumers and making the entire painting experience memorable", explains M M Khan, General Manager of Sadolin Paints, Oman. At the Colour Point outlet, customers are also attended to by dedicated and professionally trained sales personnel and guided on the selection of appropriate products and finishes. Sadolin Paints manufactures the entire range of decorative coatings and furniture lacquers under a technical licensing agreement with Akzo Nobel, the number 1 paint company in the world. Sadolin Paints (Oman) Ltd is certified for ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001.
