DOHA: Three more senior executives of state-backed Barwa Real Estate Company have tendered their resignation in protest of mass sackings ordered by the newly-appointed managing director (MD) of the company recently, Al Sharq reported yesterday.

The daily said the trend is expected to continue with more resentful senior employees mulling to quit.

One of the three senior executives who put in their papers has, in fact, shot off letters to the company's employees apologising for the 'high-handedness' of the management in dealing with them, the daily said.

It added that the fact that senior members of the company's management continue to quit showed that the coordination meeting that took place between the company's chairman and MD last Monday failed to achieve any positive results.
