MUSCAT -- The Ministry of Housing will start receiving applications for residential plots from eligible citizens in different governorates and regions of the Sultanate from December 20.
Applications can be submitted through 97 post offices specified for the purpose.
The last date to submit application is February 29, 2009,
The latest amendment to the Land Law allows women to get residential plots allotted if they meet the age limit specified in the Royal Decree No. 125/2008.
The age limit has been reduced to 23 for unmarried and 21 for married.
