MUSCAT -- Shaikh Saad bin Mohammed al Mardhouf al Saadi, Minister of Commerce and Industry, received yesterday a delegation representing French companies operating in different sectors.
The meeting was concerned with bolstering Omani-French co-operation and fostering French investments.
The two sides discussed possible joint ventures and presentations were made on projects planned at Al Duqm, Salalah Port, Mazyoona Free Zone and industrial estates.
CEO, Omani Oil Company (OOC) highlighted participation of French companies in joint ventures with OOC.
Meanwhile, Khalil bin Abdullah al Khonji, Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), conferred with the French delegation which is led by Yves-Thibault de SILGUY, vice-president of the Movement of French Enterprises (MEDEF).
The delegation comprises representatives of 15 companies 30 large MEDEF French companies.
