Dubai, UAE, May 7, 2007 - Oracle, the world's largest enterprise software company, has announced that Oasis Investment Company, (OIC) LLC, the holding company for the Al Shirawi Group, has selected the Oracle E-Business Suite to standardise best practices across its 30 different businesses, and increase overall effectiveness at all user levels.
The software implementation will spread across OICs diversified business activities, ranging from manufacturing and engineering to printing, trading, distribution, logistics, and contracting; and will enable OIC to integrate and consolidate business information across all of the group's companies. It will also allow OIC's decision-makers to plan more effectively at multiple levels from a single user to the corporate level.
"Previously, our group companies had separate 'silos' of information about finances, human resources, procurement, and other key functions. We are now integrating and standardising all of these processes with the Oracle E-Business Suite to have a single viewpoint across the group," said M. Oracle E-Business Suite's distinct edge of offering a single point of data entry across all the companies gives an advantage of flow for business information and visibility at every stage. Experienced and international level Implementation partner will be implementing these application suites within a specified time frame.
