DOHA: Mowasalat is participating in the 59th International Association of Public Transport (UITP) Congress and Exhibition that opened in Dubai yesterday.
The five-day event is hosted by the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The Mowasalat delegation to the event, headed by its chairman and managing director Jassim Saif Al Sulaiti comprises Ahmed Bu Sherbak Al Mansoori, executive director and heads of various departments at the company.
Mowasalat will showcase its buses, training equipment and samples of the latest taxis which have been added to the fleet. Eng. Ali Bahzad, Director of Taxi and Limousine Unit, and Nasser Al Khanji will present two work papers.
Ahmed Al Ansari, director of business development department at Mowasalat will hand over the flag of the MENA Committee to the representative of RTA being the host of the next conference to be held in March 2012.
UITP is the international network for public transport authorities and operators, policy decision-makers, scientific institutes and the public transport supply and service industry.
