Microsoft Jordan and STS, Jordan's IT service and enterprise solution provider and Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, have successfully developed and delivered the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) to the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (MoICT). The ESB was customised for the government to help enhance the user experience by facilitating the integration and collaboration of various cross-government e-services, allowing them to provide their services more efficiently and accurately.

The ESB will also enable governmental institutions to share and exchange data, verify identification numbers, ensure data security and execute payments in a more convenient, safe and cost-effective manner. The unified infrastructure and central connection system will connect government institutions to provide a safe and flexible environment for e-services that will deliver more value and convenience to the end-users.

Rula Ammuri, Microsoft Jordan country manager, stated: "The Enterprise Service Bus is a key enabler in implementing real?time messaging, integration and web service management for the government of Jordan to provide its end-users with accurate, efficient and easily-accessible online services." Jordan is among the first countries to adopt the Enterprise Service Bus from Microsoft.

Microsoft and STS will continue to provide support to the MoICT to ensure the effective utilisation of the ESB.
