On 1st July 2006 Maadiran was once again awarded "The Best Industrial Plant" title for the year 2005/6 from Ministry of Industries and Mines. Maadiran was the only recipient of this prestigious award, clearly distinguishing it from all other domestic electronics manufacturers. The award was presented by Iranian President Ahmadinedjad and the Minister of Industry and Mines, Mr. Tahmasebi, to the Vice Chairman of Maadiran, Mr. Abolhassan Shahrasebi, at an awards ceremony in Tehran. This is the third time Maadiran has received this title, the previous years being 2002 and 2004.
