Iranian automakers produced more than half a million vehicles in the first four months of the current Iranian year, which started on March 21.
Iran's Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade said the car manufacturers had produced 503,997 vehicles between March 21 and July 22.
It noted that the companies had assembled 438,102 passenger cars during the period which shows a 1.9-percent increase compared to the figure for the same period last year.
