The annual headline CPI reached 8.6% in January 2012 down from 9.6% in December 2011, according to data released by CAPMAS.
In the meantime, the annual Core CPI computed by the Central Bank of Egypt decreased to reach 6.86% in January 2012 compared to 7.07% in December 2011.
