Abu Dhabi:- Emirates Motor Company (EMC), the flagship company of Al Fahim Group, is the first Mercedes-Benz general distributor in the region to launch the Five-Year Extended Warranty on all Mercedes-Benz vehicles and Road Side Assistance Program as an additional standard feature on all new Mercedes-Benz vehicles purchased in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, effective 1 June 2011 at no extra cost for the customer.

Mr. Kamal Rafih, the newly appointed General Manager of EMC and driver of customer-oriented strategies, stated, "We take customer relationships seriously and sincerely aim to exceed their expectations at all levels. Through our Voice of the Customer communication channels, we have studied the feedback received from our customers and returned with practical solutions that give our customers great savings and total peace of mind. In April, we launched the Integrated Service Package Plus (ISP+) on our most popular model, the S Class, and the spectacular SUV, the GL-Class (7-seater), and now we are launching the Five-year Extended Warranty and Road Side Assistance Program as well. 

Further highlighting the impact of long-term and professionally practiced customer relationship management, EMC has also announced an 11% sales increase compared to the first quarter of 2010, owing to the continued popularity and customers passion for Mercedes- Benz cars. The new ISP+ on the S and GL classes has proved to be a great success contributing to the overall increase in sales performance.

"The Extended Warranty Program comes as standard on all Mercedes-Benz models at EMC and includes transferable ownership as well as 24/7 roadside assistance, also valid for five years," explained Mr. Thomas May, General After-Sales Manager of EMC. "We have also arranged for any customer who has purchased a new vehicle from 1 January 2011 to 31 May 2011 to upgrade his vehicle warranty to the five-year warranty at special rate upon request. With those excellent new features our customers can enjoy their Mercedes-Benz vehicles now even more and have the confidence of perfect services at the same time." Additionally, all vehicles aged less than 24 months and with a mileage of less than 40,000 kilometers (km) can be upgraded to the five-year warranty at attractive rates.

Besides the new Extended Warranty Program, Emirates Motor Company launched the new ISP PLUS Coverage on the S and GL classes where all scheduled service work and related labor are covered for five years or 105,000 km (whichever comes first). In addition to the standard Mercedes-Benz ISP coverage, EMC will also cover brake pads, discs replacement and wiper blades replacement.
