Collaborates with the British Centres for Business to bring Emperor Design Consultants to Dubai

Dubai - Dubai Investment Development Agency (Dubai FDI), an agency of the Department of Economic Development (DED), and the British Centres for Business (BCB) initiative of the UK government have successfully collaborated to bring London-headquartered Emperor Design Consultants to expand its operations to the Middle East.

An independent branding and communications agency with three existing offices in the UK and a presence in Moscow, Emperor has opened its office in Dubai as part of its growth strategy, which includes expanding existing clientele in the UAE and surrounding regions. Established in 1996, Emperor is one of the most highly respected UK design agencies with a portfolio spanning brand advisory, corporate identity, financial reporting, employee communications and digital strategy.

Ibrahim Ahli, Director of Investment Promotion Department at Dubai FDI, remarked that moving to Dubai would firmly position Emperor for accelerated growth and at the same time enable local businesses to benefit from Emperor's extensive communications expertise in strategic sectors such as real estate, financial services, natural resources and tourism.

"Dubai offers a critical twin advantage for businesses - an exceptionally diversified local enterprise population and easy access to the most promising markets across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. The expertise that Emperor brings to Dubai is well-aligned with the key growth drivers in Dubai and its key business sectors," said Ahli.

"The foreign companies moving to Dubai and the knowledge they bring nowadays validate the success Dubai FDI and its partnership network have had in highlighting the economic potential of Dubai and its most dynamic sectors to businesses and investors worldwide," said Hamad Al Abdooli, Senior Manager, Investment Support at Dubai FDI.

Neil Reynolds, International Director of Emperor Design Consultants who is heading up the new GCC office, pointed to the robust economic prospects for the UAE over the coming years, particularly with the country having been upgraded as an Emerging Market and to Dubai hosting the Expo 2020 and said the existing client base and experience of doing business in the region makes Emperor uniquely placed to capitalise on such opportunities.

"Emperor is extremely excited to be investing in the UAE.  It will provide huge opportunities for us to further enhance Emperor's growth through delivering outstanding brand and communications design solutions for companies in the region - based on long-term, mutually rewarding, trusted relationships" Reynolds said.

Susie Isaacson, Business Operations Manager of BCB said: "We are delighted to have Emperor as part of the BCB. Their business record in the region is already excellent and we are looking forward to helping them achieve even further success from their new Dubai base."

Together, Dubai FDI and BCB have enabled a number of leading UK companies from the information technology, digital media and services domains to move to Dubai in recent years.
