'Customers comes first' says Lootah
Eng. Hussain Nassir Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality has recently honoured a number of front officers who have been working with different centres of Dubai municipality.
The ceremony was held in Dubai Intercontinental Hotel in the presence of directors, senior officials and front officers in different departments of the civic body.
'The civic body is a service oriented organisation as its services are deeply linked to the society and we are obliged to honour the front officers since they are the mirror that reflects our excellence in the customer service,' said Lootah addressing the audience.
'They are the front raw soldiers in providing the municipal services, which are the basic requirements of the society. We need to perform our best in terms of providing right information, direction and instructions to the public. Every customer should be treated as the guest of the civic body in tune with our tradition and culture,' he further said.
Manal Obaid Yaroof, Head of Customer Relations Section, presented the results of a study on customer satisfaction for the year 2011 done by the Executive Council, according to which the entire local authorities were evaluated in 2011.
Valuable gifts were distributed through a lucky draw. Around 250 employees participated in the ceremony, which ended with a delicious lunch party prepared for participants.
