Euro Motors, the sole importer for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in the Kingdom of Bahrain, yesterday unveiled the new Phantom Drophead Coupé in Manama.
The Phantom Drophead Coupé is a two-door, four-seater convertible combining the latest in light-weight engineering technology with the finest hand-crafted materials. It features several unique design options, such as a stainless steel bonnet and teak decking - inspired by sailing yachts.
Each car is individually built by highly skilled craftsmen and women at the company's world headquarters in Goodwood, on the south coast of England. The Phantom Drophead Coupé offers owners an unparalleled convertible experience, combining compelling driveability with exceptional engineering.
Zayed Al Zayani, Managing Director of Euro Motors, said: "Deliveries of the new convertible have already commenced, and first feedback gained from our customers proves that this new Rolls-Royce is a fusion of timeless design, modern technologies and finest materials. Our pre-orders lead well into next year, which is extremely encouraging."
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars´ Managing Director for Europe and the Middle East, Axel Obermüller, said: "We are pleased to see the continuous development of Rolls-Royce in Bahrain, with substantial growth during the last years. I am convinced that the latest member of the Phantom family, arguably the most luxurious convertible in the world, will add to this success story."
Rolls-Royce has just announced that by the end of September it had retailed worldwide 22 per cent more cars compared to the same period last year with demand for all models increasing.
With the addition of the convertible to the range, the luxury car manufacturer now offers three models including the Phantom and Phantom Extended Wheelbase.
